GSE: on our way to the Global Anti Scam Summit, San Francisco 2026
The GSE team is preparing for the Global Anti Scam Summit America, which will be held in San Francisco from 2-3 September at Pier 48.
On 2 September, from 14:00-15:00, GSE is hosting a workshop, “Geographies of Scams: Where Criminals, Infrastructure and Victims Collide." The session is split into three parts: where the scammers operate from, where the infrastructure and kit they rely on sits, and so what are we going to do about it. Speakers include Lucien Taylor and Emily Taylor of Oxford Information Labs, Andrei Skorobogatov of GASA, Fran Dowling of the UK Home Office, Iain Young of Mastercard, Carole House of ACAMS, Akssenya Beedassy of TikTok, and Andre Ng of GovTech Singapore.
On 3 September, GSE is hosting a plenary session from 10:15-10:30 am, "The Global Signal Exchange: Accounting to the GASA Community." Lucien Taylor will give a short update on the platform's progress, opening with founder reflections from Emily Taylor, Jean-Jacques Sahel, and Jorij Abraham on GSE's first year.
From there, big tech partners and the wider GSE community will speak on the platform's impact and why they've joined, including Justen Davis of Somos, Carole House of ACAMS, Akssenya Beedassy of TikTok and Andre Ng of GovTech Singapore, followed by Mike Haley of Cifas on GSE's growth. Craig Newmark of Craig Newmark Philanthropies will close with a word on why he's backing GSE.
