GSE Platform Release 2.7.0 - June 2026

We are pleased to announce the release of version 2.7.0 of the GSE platform. Full release notes for this release can be found here. This release has the following key features

Feedback Enhancements

We have been delighted with the increasing amount of feedback we have seen being supplied by GSE users in response to signals over the last couple of months. In response to this we are pleased to announce some specific enhancements to assist users in retrieving and processing feedback in more rational ways.

  • Latest Feedback View: This new view accessed via a new menu item replaces the previous “Provide Feedback” item to provide a more comprehensive view of all feedback for signals you have access to in the GSE. The ability to provide feedback is still retained within this new view.
  • New Receiving Feedback API: Whilst it has always been possible to receive feedback for signals by filtering the main GSE signal APIs the new Feedback API provides access to all feedback entries for all signals available to you in the GSE. This API allows for filtering on specific sources and is designed for at scale ingestion of feedback.
  • Feedback Metrics: It is now possible to see a breakdown of the various types of feedback for all signals which you have access to on the GSE. This is also available as a drill down dashboard at the Group level for groups created in Group Sharing.

GSE Compass Enhancements

After a successful Beta trial of the GSE Compass natural language based interface to the GSE we are delighted to be moving towards production status which we hope to be able to announce next month. We have been grateful for all of the feedback we have received to date on this pathbreaking feature and would encourage you to continue to get in touch with us (by replying to these emails) with any further comments or feedback. This month we are pleased to announce the following enhancements:

  • League table support: GSE Compass now has access to the TLD, Registrar, and ASN league table positions and can be asked questions such as “What position is GoDaddy in the Registrar League Table”. There is also a new guided interface available to help build Compass queries for effective league table results.
  • GSE Index integration: It is now possible to include the GSE index in queries to GSE compass e.g. “Show me signals with a GSE Index greater than 80”

GSE Index Algorithm Update

As part of our regular review of the GSE index we have made some algorithm changes this month to better reflect the balance of factors in use for calculations and to address concerns that signals have started with particularly high initial index values. To provide consistency across the platform all signals will be recomputed with a new GSE index value in accordance with the new algorithm so this may generate an overall perceived reduction in group averages as well as individual values.

API change notification (Effective End of June)

We have become aware that the current flexibility to supply feedback items without an associated source feed is leading to these feedback items being effectively invisible to other GSE users. To address this we are planning on making the source field compulsory as of the next release at the end of June. Please make adjustments to any automated scripts which reference the sending Feedback API (https://signals.gse.live/report/feedback) well in advance of this date and please get in touch if you need any further clarification - we have already updated the API docs to reflect this upcoming change.
