GSE Platform Refresh: A Cleaner, More Focused User Experience Platform Version 2.9.0 - August 2026
We are pleased to announce the release of version 2.9.0 of the GSE platform. Full release notes for this release can be found here. This release has the following key features
New Look and Feel
We are delighted to be launching a completely new look and feel this month for the GSE. This provides a much more focused user experience as well as improved navigation and breadcrumbs. As part of these changes we have also made the following additional improvements to the interface:
- NEW Feeds menu item. You can now see the feeds available to your account and community feeds within the same page.
- Collapsible sidebar. The menu can now be collapsed to an icon-only view, giving you more room for signal data and dashboards, and it collapses automatically when you open the query editor.
Push APIs (Webhooks)
We are very excited after a number of months of anticipation to be launching Beta access to our new Push API functionality using Webhooks.
Push APIs provide the ability for us to push signals directly to external URL endpoints as soon as we receive them into the GSE providing near real-time access to signals for our users and avoiding the need for them to poll for new signals using the existing pull mechanisms.
Webhooks can be managed via a new dedicated menu item within the GSE and allow for existing Receiving APIs to be configured in push mode to send data to a designated URL as and when new signals are received into the GSE with the usual parameter based filtering if required.
Webhooks will be rolled out as a Beta feature by default to our Strategic Partners as part of this release. If you are interested in trialling this feature as one of our Operational partners please do get in touch.
Custom Dashboard Update
Following on from the release of custom dashboards last month we are rolling out a number of stock dashboards which can be applied to your account on request. The first of these which are releasing this month is the Keyword Monitoring Dashboard which allows you to track target keywords against GSE signals, view feedback and analyse key metrics including the GSE index score in one place. We are planning on releasing more of these over the coming months and would love to hear back from you on any generic dashboards which you might be interested in which may be useful to our wider community.
New Data Feeds
We are pleased to announce new open data from Intelfinder this month comprising Phishing data from their brand protection service. This will be automatically enabled on your account if you have a receiving data plan with the GSE. We have also rationalised the access to currently enabled and other community feeds (previously referred to as marketplace feeds) into a single Feeds menu item to make this navigation more straightforward. We will be refining the workflow around our community feeds in the coming months to make the process of application for these more streamlined.
Update to Plans
As part of our not-for-profit mission to reduce scams and fraud at scale we are constantly reviewing and improving the way that we describe our services. As part of this we our moving from the previous Contribute, Respond and Command labels to the more descriptive Community Participant, Operational Partner and Strategic Partner offerings which will be reflected going forward in the labelling of your plan in the GSE.
Upcoming Features
We are excited about the roadmap for the GSE over the coming months and wanted to highlight a couple of important headline features we are working on in August.
- On platform messaging between GSE users - This much requested feature allows for users to discuss GSE use and access to data directly on the platform in a trackable way.
- Geographical Indices - In order to be effective in our mission to reduce scams and fraud globally it is increasingly important to be able to understand both the geography of the Infrastructure used by scammers as well as the Target geography for victims of scammers. In a similar way to our GSE index we are looking to produce geographical indices to identify and understand these two landscapes which will then inform league tables and other analysis as well as being available at the signal level for consumption via the GSE.
We are always keen to hear back from our users with any suggestions for improvement or if you need any further clarification on use of the GSE. Please feel free to contact us on [email protected].
